I have always loved reading, but I have never felt my enjoyment in it overly-confined to one subject area. My interests in a broad range of topics, stories, and perspectives are reflected in my reviews and reading lists. About Me
When I was thirteen, my aunt found many old Agatha Christie books in a bookshop. She had asked the owner to pack the collection and send it to my sister and me. I was ecstatic when the box arrived; it contained dozens of Agatha Christie stories (including several books published under "Mary Westmacott"). At the time, I loved the Christie books, and although it was a challenge to work through the sizeable box of books, it remains one of the best gifts I have ever received. It kick-started a habit of reading that I still haven't quite shaken.

As I ventured out into the literary world from under the comfortable umbrella of a murder mystery in the subsequent years, I found a lot of opportunity and insight through reading. It has resulted in many well-spent and enjoyable hours, and I am excited to share
